Fun fact: The animal lived in the Late Cretaceous period, probably primarily on land where it hunted small animals. So far only one skull of the animal has been found in the Sahara, so scientists can only guess at its actual appearance. It’s estimated that the dinosaur was around 6 m long.

Only once a product meets fully all international laws, standards and guidelines for toys is it released for production.  All Schleich articles and materials comply with the national and international toy requirements applicable worldwide, as well as the new European Toy Safety Directive 2009/48/EC and DIN EN 71.
